Welcome to the UCD Western Equestrian Team site!
Our team competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Western circuit in many events including beginning to advanced Western Equitation and Reining.
We are an inclusive team that accepts members from any discipline and skill level. We travel statewide to different schools to compete against Standford, College of the Sequoias, University of Santa Clara, Sonoma State, University of Nevada in Reno, and Cal Poly SLO. New schools are attempting to add to our Region yearly resulting in the rapid growth of our Regional Association.
On average we have about 20 active girls on our team. We run a close knit team operated on the collaboration of all members that results in a highly professional yet fun environment.
